I am trying to regroup myself. First of all: summer is gone. I am now a WAHM, i am trying to at least, and all of my life is upside down now. so, while i do the regrouping, i leave you with some Melina playtime. My sweety...

Our grandpa bought us an iron. I cannot tell you how much i enjoy watching her play "pretend". Lot's of laughs!

A house full of memories

This is the house that i grew up in. I could take thousands of pictures of details from my mom's & dad's house, really. It is full with stuff that they both gathered or bought through the years. My mom loves everything that is old. You can tell that. She adores old family pictures. But not fake ones. These are all showing our grand-grandparents & family. She loves silver things (which i hate!), broderie and bottles. As much as this house is not.."our style" we all love it and miss it when away. It's the easiest thing to make a "modern house" but the hardest thing is to make a warm, house that combines old, vintage and modern stuff. That's what i say. Take a look.

Ice Cream Joy

Summer Vacations

Someone is on vacations, and yes that is me. Well, we actually came to stay in my hometown for as long as we can. 

That means rest for me, playtime for Mel and absolute happiness for Granpa & Grandma.

Oh! we also took our personal photographer with us (aka our Daddy). Man, he is soooo obsessed with photographing Mel...(look who's talking now).

Stick..to the point

We are going through the "i love stickers" phase with Mel these days. Her daddy bought her a book full of stickers and Mel finds it hilarious to stick them...well everywhere but in the book. Her favorite places are mommy, daddy and their clothes. I pray to god before i go to work that i wont go on a meeting with a strawberry stuck in the back if my shirt!

Playstation-ing

I've said it before and i will say it again: Boys will be boys and girls will be girls. And don't be mistaken. Mel is just supporting her friend George while he runs the tough races in Playstation. 

Cuba Libre

A bag full of fresh limes came in from the market today and, together with the summer, this means the start of the coctail season for me. I love making summer coctails for friends or just for enjoying them in the garden in the evening. 

Routine

I usually go to work with my brother who drives a scooter. But many times i have to take the train. I so much enjoy gazing through the window deleting all the bad vibes from work as the train moves faster and faster. 

Artful neighbors

George is 6 years old, he is our next door neighbor and apparently a potential artist. Melina adores him and he is very gentle and patient with her (for a boy anyway). He did this drawing in Mel's blackboard yesterday.

Hard netWorking girls

-Mummy......can we see "manah manah"? I wanna see "manah manah"!!!
And this is pretty much how it goes until i put "manah manah" on youtube and then Mel would like to see "mimi" and many more. The results: 30 minutes later i shut down the netbook because,let's face it, nobody can work with the Muppets playing their screen!!!!!!!!!

Sneak Peak

And who is this guy sneaking through the window, between the curtains?? Mr Luppo himself. Our dog. He gets so jealous of Mel playing with all kinds of fluffy and plastic squeaky things inside, so he put his head inside begging for some attention (or waiting for any toy to come closer to his mouth)

Best Friends

Melina and Artemis were friends before they were even born! Mel is only one month older than Artemis and she started visiting her for some playtime from the first days she was born. They are close from this day on. Cuties! 

Doodling around

God! Exactly when will Mel's "drawings" look like actual drawings?? I am kidding. She is only 23 months old. Seriously though...should i pin them in my office's wall or should i wait till she's 3???(bad bad mother!)

Diet Day #2

This is my dinner. My propper meal for today. I am trying hard to start a program in which i must eat 5 meals a day. Healthy food that is. No sweets, no too much bread, no fried stuff. Ok. How do i convince S. to follow me in this? Let's hope this penne salad will be a good start.

Freaking Monday again

Nothing -and i really mean nothing- can wake me up every morning like coffee. Freaking Mondays need an extra cup. Did i mention i am on a diet? (god could it get any worst?)
